From Struggle to Solution
Back in 2019, we were scrambling to secure our second round of funding. The pitch decks looked great, but our financial projections were a mess. We'd built a product people wanted, but we couldn't articulate the path to profitability in a way that made sense to investors.
That experience taught us something crucial: most founders are brilliant at solving problems for their customers, but struggle to solve the financial puzzle of their own businesses. The gap between great ideas and sustainable ventures often comes down to understanding the numbers that drive growth.
We spent months learning financial modeling the hard way - through trial and error, expensive consultants, and plenty of rejected proposals. Eventually, we cracked the code and closed our funding round, but we wished someone had taught us these skills from the beginning.
